Holons
This might be a bunch of hoohaw, or just one of many ways to wrap the world up into a neat quadrant, but I did find myself liking this image. I found it in a big attempt to understand blogging. In my opinion the author misses the mark by failing to mention that attempting to categorize blogs is like trying to categorize people: really only useful for eugenics, belly laughs, and marketing.

(Relatively) Painless
Bushes, perhaps the cutest movie I've ever seen (that doesn't involve dancing). Thankfully, this has nothing to do with our royal family.

Mr. Glover, again
My buddy Elaine had the opportunity to actually hang out with Crispin Hellion Glover while at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend. Turns out he's really intense (surprise). To me, his new trailer comes off as kind of Cremaster meets South Park, but I'm insane and shouldn't be allowed an opinion. I wish I could have, however, played a bit part. Maybe topless and disabled and breakdancing and snail-saving. I'd like to go to a park with him. Or bowling.
Update: New link to Elaine's pics.

Hardcore Porm
so
once
it began
not misfocused
nonoverworn
antilistless
uberblissful
a river eddy
and the normalcy paradigm
when it works best expands my circle of friends and
"darth" could be said to be a word that's southern accent bliss for "death"
a world full of limitless delicious brilliant dark and light and wonder and
yet for me it's difficult to blossom anything that I think matters to anybody but myself
- poor
- as
- king
a blip
of arrogant
bliss

Bugs!
Kenn Wingle takes super close pictures of insects and spiders.
Yesterday I discovered iScooper, an app for Mac OS X which will let you download collections of pictures like this all at once. I'm like a kid in a candy shop... with a gift certificate.

Tufte Sculpture
Neat. Edward Tufte, famous information designer - and man I'd just like to give a personal nod of respect to - is also a full on artist. Forgive my ignorance, but click this pic:
