The Roof! The Roof!

Went home this weekend to discover my apartment building locked up tight after a fire. The fire department put heavy locks on all the external doors with signs like "WARNING: Toxic Air." It looks like the fire was on the other side of the building from mine, so my stuff should be ok, but I really don't know the extent of the damage yet.

This could be a sign that the universe is conspiring against me, the latest in a string of recursive fractal waves of catch-22s. Or maybe it's just a small bit of bad luck. Anyway, I am strong, like the oak, and flexible, like the willow, and if I smell funny this week it's probably mostly just the smoke on my clothes like... a tree that's been... near something that burned.

Update: Sounds like I have to move out. I'm going to sneak upstairs when they let me in and see if I can get some photos.

Anybody know of any cool apartments in Belltown?
