Dustin on the radio
Got a note from my translator friend Dustin this morning:
For those of you who are interested, it seems I will be speaking on the radio on Wednesday, April 4th from 10:30-11:00 AM PST. The station is KUOW and the program is called Weekday, hosted by Steve Scher.I don't know exactly what we're going to be talking about, and it may
be a disaster, but I thought I'd let you know.If you would like to tune in but won't have the time, I think you can
download a podcast (recording) of the show afterwards from the same
website given above.
[Update: Here's the link to the show, well worth a listen. Dustin's segment starts at 27:22]

We forgot the Wow
Microsoft's Wow site wants you to search for Wow! Wow!
Unfortunately, if you take them literally nothing comes up. Wow indeed.

Squirming little persons
Hey, whatdayaknow I'm an uncle. Older brother Ben and his wife Sava had a daughter, Besa on 1/14 or so and little brother Ewan gave birth to Leo with a lot of help from his wife Leya on 1/20, a day before my birthday. Phew. They're cute and amazing and I'm proud to announce that I successfully resisted the urge to speak in gibberish around them or otherwise act like an idiot.

Oops

I guess somebody at USA Today is probably getting fired. A little kittycat at Cingular tells me that the rumors/major-national-news-report(s) announcing the demise of the Cingular brand have been greatly exaggerated.
Cingular is sticking around. The new "at&t" brand will only be applied to some bundled services at BellSouth. Whoops.
