Streaming mobile music services
Have made this case so many times in so many ways in the last three years. Hope it catches on eventually. We were, perhaps, a bit too early.

Totally bitchin' phone
...with the catchy knock-out name "Samsung SPH MM-A900." Sometimes I have no idea what the marketing folks at *insert operator name here* and *insert phone manufacturer here* are thinking. It's really hard to get all lusty about a string of letters and numbers, regardless of the daily habits of most of the developers I work with. (sorry).
Anyway, got my hands on one of these today and was literally giddy like a schoolgirl. Hard nipples. Squealing. So forth and so on. Thin, sexy, 3G. Good lord, the end game for this stuff is like, so sweet. OMG industrial design, applied to a PHONE! Whodathunkit? Oh MM-A900 how I heart thee.
...oh, and this is much better than the RAZR, which is a dumb but pretty cheerleader with bleached hair and a boyfriend who gets it, but doesn't get it.

Big Screens Come to Phones
So cool, I can't wait. I'm pretty sure that the future is starting to look like mobile phone/computers with fat processing power, big hard drives, WiFi/WiMax, projected or wirelessly-connected keyboards and mice (mouses?) and now... projected screens. So basically a really portable PC. I guess that leaves folks who, like me, are specializing in developing UIs for itty bitty bandwidth constrained devices kind of in the past, but I think there will always be a place for me in the future.

My new mobile portal ubersite
After looking for a mobile resource page, with links to all the stuff I'd like to do on my phone, and being dissatisfied with everything I could find, I've put up a quicky page for myself with a Google search and a collection of handy links. Works like a charm! Bookmark www.slipperyshudder.com/mobile on your phone, if you wanna.
Anyone know of any useful links I'm missing?
